Large vintage Tetex Kirman design rug – 390 X 295 cm. Magnificent crocheted Tetex rug, made in Germany, with an oriental inspiration. This type of rug emerged in the 1920s-30s, a period when the demand for Persian and Caucasian rugs was high in Europe, while the supply was very limited. To meet the enthusiasm of collectors and museums, crocheted rugs with oriental patterns were produced with care and quality. This model is inspired by the famous Kirman, in excellent condition: no stains or wear. Dimensions: 390 X 295 cm. Additional information and photos available upon request.
