Magnificent antique compote on a high foot made of ironstone, from the Saint-Amand & Hamage factory (Nord), Medallion model. Elegant green neoclassical decor, adorned with medallions, pearl garlands, ribbons, geometric friezes, and floral cartouches. Its high-footed shape and refined decor make it a very lovely piece for presenting fruits, sweets, or completing a set of antique tableware. Stamped Saint-Amand & Hamage, Medallion model, on the back. Overall good condition, with some signs of use and small marks of time, particularly under the foot (see photos).
