“Gressey” dessert plates

8 dessert plates, Ø 18.5 cm, height 2.5 cm. Slightly scalloped shape, fine gold rim, fine white earthenware. The central motif. A stylized bird, gold and raspberry feathers, perched on a flowering branch with an Asian feel, enhanced with ochre/pink floral tufts. The style evokes the transitional aesthetic between Art Deco and Japanese inspirations, probably from the first half of the 20th century. Signature on the reverse: Gressey, simple stamp. No doubt: we are talking about the mid-20th century, probably French or European production with Asian influence.
