Georgian Style Rare Original Chesterfield Leather Armchair, 1950s

We are pleased to offer this rare and original Georgian style armchair for sale. A very beautiful collectible and decorative armchair. It is made according to the early Gothic designs which were solid wood, this is a later adaptation in the Georgian style and designed to be used as a relaxing chair or reading chair. The structure is in solid curved beech. The leather upholstery is thick and resistant but with evident signs of use, the capitonè work in the Chesterfield style. We cleaned it with wax and polished it from top to bottom, it has a genuine and reflective patina.
