Similar to the design from the Hayat Brothers and similar to the well-known safari chair by Kaare Klint. The Safari Roorkee chair was developed in 1933 by Hayat Brothers in Pakistan for British officials and was used on safaris. Hayat developed a model that could be used as a chair. Hayat developed a model that could be quickly disassembled, yet stable and comfortable. The chair seems quite unstable, but once you sit down, the wood joints tighten. The backrest tilts slightly, making the chair surprisingly comfortable. Still in very nice condition! Dimensions: Width 58cm, Depth 60cm, Height 78cm, Seat height 40cm.
