Here is a vase that does not go unnoticed. With its rounded sides, its neck highlighted by a deep blue border and above all its explosion of hand-painted flowers, it embodies all the joie de vivre of the table arts of yesteryear... Transposed to interior decoration. Each bouquet is full of details: cornflowers, carnations, perhaps even a few stylized asters... A floral swirl that recalls the heyday of French earthenware inspired by the 18th century, somewhere between Nevers, Quimper and the productions of the South-West. A vase that is sufficient in itself: whether it holds a fresh bouquet, a few dried branches or sits proudly empty on a sideboard, it captures the light thanks to its beautiful shiny enamel and gives a chic country touch full of freshness. Height 23 cm, diameter at the widest 19 cm Good condition, no chips, no cracks - the enamel is very bright, slight wear on the edge. Unsigned but clearly hand-painted (variations visible in the patterns). Estimated period: late 70s, early 80s. Ideal for a cheerful decor, between old-world charm and family home spirit, for interiors in a chic country or cottagecore style.
