Vase Cage XXL - Murano Crystal Sculptural - 40cm - 1960-70

Exceptional sculptural piece, a "cage" vase hand-blown according to the great glassmaking tradition of Murano, Italy. Inspired by the revival of Italian glass design from the 1960s-1970s, this artwork impresses with its airy architecture: a complex network of crystal filaments intertwines with great finesse, beautifully contrasting with a massive and stable base. The glass features a superb crystalline hue with slight grey-green reflections in the mass, typical of the traditional soda glass composition of Murano, ensuring its artisanal and authentic character. This piece showcases high-level craftsmanship: the network structure is hot-fused, creating a striking play of transparency and relief. With a height of 40 cm and an imposing weight of 2.75 kg, this vase makes a strong visual statement in any contemporary or design interior, and its capacity of 600ml allows for the display of flowers. Condition: Very good overall condition. Please note: a 3 mm surface micro-crack located around the base, with no material loss and not affecting the overall stability of the object.
