Small Vintage Ceramic Bowl, Signed 456 Cérart Monaco, Vide Poche Dish

Colorful vintage little bowl made by Cérart Monaco in the 1970s. The piece is signed at the bottom with '456 cérart monaco'. Handpainted French pottery. This piece is a good example of the creative influx of a few Italian visionary ceramic artisans in Monte Carlo after WWII. One factory that took up the distinctive 'graffito e smalto' style (scratching and enameling) was Cérart. The vivid enamels and vibrant graffito technique are all hand-applied, making it a unique one-of-a-kind piece. Diameter: 13 cm / 5.11 inch. Height: 3 cm / 1.18 inch. Weight: 157 gram / 5.53 ounce.
