Glass-fronted oak sideboard from the Art Nouveau period.

Superb two-part buffet in solid oak, in Art Nouveau style, dating from the early 20th century. This elegant piece of furniture is distinguished by its simple and harmonious lines, as well as its floral carved motifs typical of the era. The upper section consists of two side doors framing a central niche with a shelf and a balustrade gallery, ideal for displaying crockery or decorative objects. The lower section offers a generous storage space with two waist drawers and three doors, one of which is a central double door. The small panes are bevelled glass. The original brass handles and lock entries add an extra touch of authenticity. The whole piece rests on slightly curved feet, giving the furniture a beautiful visual lightness. The furniture is in very good overall condition, featuring a warm patina and particularly decorative wood grain. The interior is glazed. A characterful piece, both functional and decorative, ideal for a dining room or a kitchen with old-world charm.
