Saint-Vérain blue sandstone pitcher, Puisaye

Here is an absolutely charming little pitcher: in sandstone, it is adorned on its top half with a beautiful blue glaze. Produced since 1998 by the pottery couple formed by jean-claude seguin and sabine seguin-carakos, the blue sandstone of this broc (wine or water) is inspired by 16th century dishes. In his workshop called 'atelier du bleu de saint-vérain' (nièvre in burgundy franche-comté), the pair of craftsmen fashion unique pieces and sculptures inspired by the traditional pieces of puisaye and berry with a predilection for slag or ash enamels. This pitcher is signed (stamp below visible in the last photo) and in perfect condition. It will go with many styles of decoration and will give a rustic chic touch to your tables. Dimensions: height of 13 cm / diameter at its base of 7 cm and 9.5 cm on its widest part / weight of 405 grams.
