This tallboy chest, designed for the Italian manufacturer Bieffeplast, is a noteworthy example of Matteo Thun’s aesthetic. Minimalist in style, the design features a logical composition of drawers, each punctuated by dynamic handle details that alternate in direction, with perforated drawer fronts. This is a rare piece of furniture from a series produced in small numbers. Matteo Thun, an Italian architect and designer, is famously known for co-founding the Memphis Milano group alongside Ettore Sottsass, with whom he also co-founded Sottsass Associati. Thun's body of work spans ceramics, watches, lighting, and furniture, characterized by a distinctive and recognizable aesthetic that is more subdued in color palette yet futuristic in form. The cable of this item may be original and might need replacement, unless otherwise specified. Please note that items made of Rosewood are subject to a special export process that may extend the delivery time by an additional 2 to 4 weeks.
