Balinese Abstraction

Wayan lemon is an Indonesian artist born in 1975. Based in Bali, his work comes from a process of contemplation of social life and its manifestations, which give him a feeling of melancholy, endless sadness, but also joy and happiness. These feelings are rendered through lines and colors on his paintings. Nature is an inexhaustible source of beauty as well as an endless source of inspiration. In his work, he tries to represent this beauty, but it is not just about searching for this beauty, symbolically, it is rather the transcription of his feelings in response to his apprehension of the social phenomena that surround him. He lives in Ubud on the highlands in the middle of the rice terraces.
