Tommaso Barbi was a renowned Italian designer and artist, best known for his contributions in the fields of lighting, furniture, and interior decoration. Born in 1944 in Florence, he studied art and design in his hometown as well as in Rome and Milan. The main characteristic of Barbi's work lies in the use of high-quality materials such as brass, bronze, and crystal, as well as in his attention to detail and craftsmanship. He is particularly known for creating elegant and refined lighting fixtures, often characterized by organic and geometric shapes. Throughout his career, Barbi had the opportunity to work with prestigious clients, whether luxury brands or private clients, in Europe, the United States, and Asia.
