Rare and exceptional insulated ice bucket in the shape of a pear by the prestigious French house LUXIUM, dating from the 1970s. This high-end barware piece fits perfectly into the Mid-Century Modern and Hollywood Regency styles. At the time, Luxium's creations were notably distributed in luxury stores, such as the famous jeweller Asprey in London. This model combines elegance: a rounded bowl made of translucent acrylic resin (Lucite) with a stunning tortoiseshell imitation pattern. A shiny gold lid in the shape of a fruit, topped with its stem and leaf as a handle. Condition: Interior: Absolutely complete, impeccable, and clean. The original insulating bowl is intact. Mark: Signed "LUXIUM" and marked "MADE IN FRANCE" under the base, guaranteeing its authenticity. Exterior: Overall good aesthetic condition. The acrylic is clean. The gold lid shows an authentic patina of use with some light pitting and micro-surface stains (visible in the photos), which attest to its age and add to the charm of its vintage story. A rare collectible piece, ultra-decorative for dressing a bar cart, a vintage sideboard, or as a gift for a lover of exceptional retro objects.
