Blue and white ceramic snail

Snail sculpture in earthenware, shaped and glazed by hand. The piece stands out for its dense and bold texture work, both on the body and the shell, where the reliefs are deliberately pronounced. The glaze, in shades of ecru and blue, is applied irregularly, highlighting the volumes and the traces of the modelling. Each side reveals different details, giving the whole a true sculptural presence.
