Teak Storage Shelving Cabinet. Italy 1960s

A wooden library / shelving unit. Originally designed by bauhaus architect walter gropius in the 1930s as a newspaper storage cabinet, this version was manufactured in small numbers in italy in the 1960s (maker unknown). Please note that this is a heavy item - it can not be dismantled so the buyer will need to check that it fits into their intended space. In good all original condition - it has some light fading in places and a few surface scratches as would be expected.
