Vintage chrome architect's lamp by KI-E-KLAIR circa 1950 in good condition. Born between Gras and Jieldé, the KI-E-KLAIR lamps made a small revolution with their double articulation; it is now known that they equipped some of Jean Prouvé's design offices (Source: Autrefois la lumière, link available on request). This lamp is very clean, the chrome has some minor pitting. The electrical components are original, it works with a bayonet bulb not included, the key switch near the shade still functions, and the Bakelite plug is period. The lamp is fixed using its aqua green double screw clamp. The brand can be read on the tightening screws. It measures 52cm in height, 80cm when fully extended (the lower arm is telescopic), and the shade has a diameter of 13cm. By adopting this vintage item, you are giving a second life to a treasure from the past — thank you for making sustainable decoration rhyme with history and a gesture for the planet.
