Jobling B2 Bird and Maize Vase Ouraline Glass

In green Oraline glass. In 1931, Jobling asked an artist from Lalique to create designs for his new range, but it is unknown who it was. Six of his creations were used, including one depicting a bird and corn. The moulds were made by Etienne Frankhauser, who also produced moulds for Lalique, Sabino, and Hunebelle. The designs went into production in 1932. Due to their size, many cracked during the annealing process, which led to a reduction in the size of the moulds, making it difficult to find this original larger size.
