African masks in vintage ebony wood

Pair of masks, pretty couple carved in ebony from african tribal art, circa 1980. (probably sculpted by the makonde tribe in east africa). Ebony is an extremely hard and dense wood that displays a beautiful shine when polished. A cord allows them to be easily hung on the wall. Rare traces of wear height 23.5 and 21.5cm width 11.5 and 10cm depth 4.5 and 3.5cm total weight 0.590kg ref 320/23.
