Art Nouveau pendant lamp in brass and glass from the 1920s, ceiling light, Jena, Germany.

A charming and elegant Art Nouveau / Jugendstil industrial ceiling lamp from the 1920s. Made in Germany, the body and decorative ring are made of brass, while the shade / reflector is made of well-known Jena glass. The shade has a gold finish on the outside, while the inside of the reflector is mirrored. At the bottom, there is an original frosted satin glass diffuser, providing beautifully softened light. The socket is height-adjustable to adapt the light beam. The fixture is in its original condition, cleaned and rewired for use in the USA and other regions. It is intact and shows a lovely patina developed over the decades. A beautiful piece in the style of Carl Zeiss Ikon Jena / Jenaer Astax / Peter Behrens.
