Marmoreal vase by André Delatte Nancy France

I offer you this sublime vase made by andré delatte nancy france art-deco period marmoreal style pinkish purple tone and stamped on the side at the bottom (see photos) the last photo in green color brings the adelatte signature above nancy in order to authenticate this vase which bears the same signature. The base of the vase has a hair but this in no way alters its aesthetics nor its solidity and functionality (see photo). This oblong vase is a model known to andré delatte in fact he made it in several colors but rarely on the one presented here. This vase has always been used for decoration without receiving flowers or water, which allows it to have an internal state without limescale. He was born in 1887 in châtenois and died in 1953. Delatte founded his own glassworks in nancy, a city famous for its central role in the art nouveau movement, particularly with regard to glass and ceramics. Nancy was an important artistic center, and delatte's glassworks flourished with the growing demand for high-quality decorative glass works. Delatte is best known for his vases, lamps and other glass objects, often characterized by acid etching techniques and floral or naturalistic motifs, typical of art nouveau and art deco. Pieces signed “delatte nancy” are particularly sought after by collectors for their quality and aesthetics.
