Stackable Peltre Hedgehog Ashtrays Attributed to Walter Bosse 50s

After an original design in brass by walter bosse, this pewter ashtray was used by the russian airline aeroflot as a souvenir gift in the late 1950s. Concave urchin containers nest inside each other from largest to smallest, forming a full hedgehog figure when fully stacked. The "baby" top piece is simple decorative, with a row of thorns to round out the silhouette. In this case it is about five pieces, perhaps that of origin or with a lack of the sixth piece. Excellent state of conservation.
