Jean-Claude Malarmey opened a Studio with two friends after the war: Robert Pérot and Dominique Baudart. They settled in the big building above the current Museum of Vallauris who was an oil mill. And build a big wood-burning oven. This allows them to produce parts with large sensitivities of glazes that vary according to their position in the oven. Malarmey sets are recognizable by a larger geometrization than those of Perot. Roger Collet worked long as Turner at the old mill before moving to his account. Towards the end of the 1960s, the three friends split up and continue their production on their own, as this Malarmey vase. This vase is in perfect condition.
