This very elegant art deco ball vase made by the workshops of Gustave de Bruyn, manufacture of Fives-Lille (France) dates from the 1920s-1930s. Made of deep black varnished sandstone, this pretty vase has a central part on each side and anise-yellow green motifs on the handles. In addition to its angular handles, the collar of the vase has square geometric patterns in relief, characteristic of the Art Deco style. The vase is subtly iridescent, very soft to the touch, and captures the light nicely. A beautiful old piece by Gustave de Bruyn, in excellent condition. Marked with Gustave de Bruyn's stamp under the base: monogram "DB" on a marine anchor. Mention "Model Deposited" and numbered "189" (?). Height: 15 cm - Maximum width: 15 cm - Neck diameter: 4 cm - Weight: 475 kg. 20th century - 1920s-1930s. Very nice condition. Note a tiny mark at its base (or manufacture), very little visible (photo). Sending fast and neat, in parcel followed.
