Vallauris lamp in pierced ceramic – 1960s/1970s – 50 cm

Large vintage ceramic lamp from Vallauris, dating from the 1960s/1970s. A very beautiful decorative piece, entirely handmade and bearing the inscription "Vallauris Handmade" under the base. Its pierced ceramic base features an elegant relief decoration of sunflowers and foliage, particularly representative of Vallauris creations from that era. The pierced sections allow light to diffuse through the ceramic when the lamp is lit, giving it a lot of charm and presence. The electrical system has been completely renovated with a lovely braided gold textile cable, as well as a new switch and plug, chosen in a retro spirit to harmonise with the lamp. A strong and warm piece, ideal for vintage, bohemian, Mediterranean, or 60s/70s decor. Dimensions: Height: 50 cm. Diameter at the widest point: approximately 26 cm.
