Antique cut glass compote on a pedestal – late 19th / early 20th century

Antique thick cut glass compote, resting on a patinated metal base. The decoration features a cut pattern in the centre as well as subtle cuts around the edge, characteristic of productions from the late 19th or early 20th century. The piece offers a beautiful decorative presence, suitable as a centrepiece or as a decorative object. An antique piece in generally good condition considering its age, with visible signs of use and patina, consistent with previous use (see photos).
