Old trunk domed lid in eyewood

This trunk was used by my grandmother to make the trip from russia to france in the 60s. In very good condition although it requires renovation and love. Not wormy. It is made of 2 different woods. It seems that it is made of poplar and the reinforcement slats in beech but I am not in a good way to say that. The bottom presents one day between the boards but perfectly solid. Metal lock.
