Hollow flat earthenware iron earth

Hollow flat earthenware, probably french (the only brand present is a hollow "3" on the reverse), late 19th/early 20th century. Decoration by blue-green transfer on cream white: flowers and leaves descending in clusters on the marli, patterns of trellis and rinses at the edge. In very good structural condition: no accidents, rare scratches of use, only a small notch under enamel (defect introduced in the manufacture) under the cutting edge is to be reported. Age spots (see detail photo), where the creamy white pulls on the darker ivory, gives it a certain patinated look. Diam. 29 cm, h 6 cm.
