Wedgwood-stamped cloche dish, produced for the retailer James Powell and Sons of the famous Whitefriars Glassworks in London. This dish, dating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, is very modern for its time. The lines and decoration are very understated. There is a small chip under the dish (not visible on the top) and a fine hairline at the base of the cloche handle. The overall effect is unstained and very shiny. A beautiful decorative object to place in the center of a table or on a buffet, and of course, it is ready to be used again. The dish and the inside of the cloche are stamped. The red and black patterns are hand-painted. Dimensions: Dish diameter: 23 cm. Total height: 13 cm. Discovered in Geneva. Very carefully shipped.
