With natural wear / signs of use. It is stamped JUST and D 169 (D = Diskometal and model no. 139) Diskometal is an alloy that has been used for art objects. Its precise composition is not known, but it consists of tin, lead, and antimony. The alloy, which was invented by Just Andersen, is named after Disko Bay in Greenland. Diskometal was significantly cheaper than bronze and also easier to work with, making it possible to produce relatively inexpensive statuettes, vases, and bowls in the metal, which could resemble heavily patinated bronze. It measures 7 cm in height, 13.5 cm in diameter, and weighs approximately 435 grams. Delivered securely packed and insured.
