Very decorative antique country provence style armchair with wicker rush seat, french 19th century. The seat is made of hand-woven straw gathered and tucked at centre in diamond point. The frame is made of beech wood with wavy graduated ladderbacks, sloped arms, well turned spindle sections and pointed tips. This decorative chair has a low seat height ( 38 cm) so it is ideal for in a bedroom or with at thick cushion or for a child. Very good condition with minimal usersmarks. Seat height 38 cm.
