Large Italian ceramic pitcher barbotine majolica blue and yellow decoration

This superb polylobed pitcher is made of old italian ceramic. It is a jug with a narrow neck, it is decorated with a delicate floral decoration painted in underglaze blue. The edges are painted with a yellow border. This decoration seems to come from sicily. In good condition, I note scratches from use and defects on the enamel. It measures 22 cm high X 10.5 cm.
