Space age XL living room lamp in brushed aluminium, France circa 1970.

Superb and very rare XL lamp in the Space Age style, produced in France around 1970. It features a magnificent brushed and polished aluminium base supporting an imposing cylindrical lampshade made of woven jute, finished at the top and bottom with a chrome ring. The lamp measures 125 cm in total height (45 cm for the base and 80 cm for the lampshade). The diameters are 28 cm for the base and 35 cm for the lampshade. Finally, the electrical cord (with a replaced plug) measures 130 cm in length. In perfect condition, with no chips or scratches on the base, there is just a halo and 2 or 3 black spots on the back of the lampshade (see last photo), which do not affect the overall aesthetics (they even disappear when the lamp is lit). This superb lamp can be placed on the floor or on a piece of furniture and will be a remarkable addition to your decor. Not to be missed!!!
