Oil on canvas, Presentation of the Virgin at the Temple.

Important oil on canvas representing the Presentation of the Virgin at the Temple, in a composition inspired by Renaissance painting. The scene gathers many richly dressed characters around the young Virgin ascending the steps of the Temple. The monumental architecture and particularly colorful palette give a strong presence to this large composition. Work signed "Marisco" at the bottom left. Condition: see photos.
