Mid-century Scandinavian collector's candlestick in stoneware by Gunnars Keramik.

This miniature collector's candlestick made of stoneware was produced by the Swedish manufacturer Gunnars Keramik Höganäs in the 1960s. Handcrafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. A rounded candlestick in a light green colour with an irregular shade. Glazed. Signed with the manufacturer's mark. Gunnars Keramik Höganäs was founded in 1968 by Gunnar Borg, one of the leading figures in 20th-century Scandinavian ceramic design. After leaving Andersson & Johansson, he continued to produce miniature vases, lamp bases, candlesticks, and ashtrays himself. He used white stoneware clay brought from the Netherlands. Borg worked in his workshop until his death in 2007. This candlestick is in its original condition. The colours of the products shown in the photos may differ slightly from the actual ones.
