Small antique vase Isola Pescatori

Charming little vintage decorative vase made of handcrafted Italian ceramic from the famous Isola dei Pescatori (the Island of Fishermen, on Lake Maggiore in Italy). It features a deep cobalt blue (oven blue), beautifully enhanced with hand-painted floral and geometric decorations in fine gold. This piece is distinguished by its two large sculptural and sinuous handles that elegantly frame a fluted neck. Its compact size makes it a perfect curiosity to place on a sideboard, shelf, or bedside table to add a touch of classic or baroque elegance. Dimensions: Height: ~20 cm Width: ~8 cm (at its widest, including handles) Very good vintage condition. The gilding shows a charming old patina that attests to its authenticity and history (see photos). No major chips or cracks.
