Set of 12 silver-plated flatware – Silversmith Nicolas Bourgeois (Paris, 1888–1910) Elegant set of 12 silver-plated flatware, including 6 forks and 6 spoons, bearing the hallmark of the silversmith Nicolas Bourgeois, active in Paris between 1888 and 1910 (succeeded by Paul Morel in 1910). Each piece is marked: • With the silversmith's hallmark “NB” accompanied by a windmill, the symbol of Nicolas Bourgeois, referenced 37 rue Volta then 44 bis boulevard Richard-Lenoir, Paris. • With the silver-plated hallmark “84 G, ” indicating the quantity of silver used for the deposit. • With an engraved monogram “GB” on the handle, typical of late 19th-century family services. Condition: Good overall condition, with some signs of use and a slight patina consistent with age.
