"Selex" sideboard by Barovero Torino, Italy, 1960s

Inspired by the simplicity of scandinavian design, this sideboard produced by furniture manufacturer barovero as part of the selex series is as elegant as it is solid. The brown teak veneer and elegant design elements such as the black painted brass hinge inserts, bronzed brass handles and alternating veneer colours make it a subtle piece of furniture that becomes very telling as soon as you pay attention to it. It features four side doors with internal compartments and a central section consisting of three large drawers alternating with two smaller ones. The sideboard does not have a brand, but the model is well known.
