Space Age Mushroom Coffee Table, Vintage 60s Design, 48cm

Vintage coffee table from the Vega series, produced by Onrev around 1969, with an iconic Space Age design. The original base, in caramel leatherette, is attributed to Bernard Brunier—a creation long associated with Pierre Paulin, but today more firmly linked to Brunier. Two restorations are visible on the leatherette, related to old tears, clean and stable. The square top is not original: it was custom-made in a modern composite material, white in color, contrasting elegantly with the curved base. This model, sometimes nicknamed “Mushroom” for its silhouette, perfectly illustrates the futuristic and organic aesthetic of the late 1960s. Dimensions: height 38 cm, top 48 X 48 cm. Good structural condition, wear consistent with the period, visible but discreet restorations.
