This pair of strikingly elegant italian lamps comes to reinforce the fact that, as far as design goes, less can be more. Featuring a shade in the shape of an upside-down airplane wing, a simple, straight profiled-metal body and a curved base which serves as a visual counterpoint to the shade, this piece of all-metal, almost industrial design has the makings of something both useful and beautiful. The two light switches placed on the middle of the body enable one to cast light downwards, through the shade's perforated metal casing, or upwards, using the two halogen bulbs.
