Monumental Louis-Philippe mirror from the 19th century with a fine frame.

Rare and refined: monumental Louis-Philippe mirror from the 19th century in gilded wood. Fine frame, massive presence: Parisian workshop and modern minimalism. We do a little dance of joy every time we find one: a true antique French Louis-Philippe mirror with proportions worthy of haute couture. This 19th-century piece measures 208 cm high by 118 cm wide and offers this rare blend: elegant and discreet, yet with real gravity. Very rare, very chic. What distinguishes this beauty? It’s the frame: fine, subtle, and discreetly spectacular. Unlike more ornate rococo styles, this mirror fits into a modern minimalist feel while remaining rooted in the authenticity of the old. It is heavy (yes, in that delightfully reassuring way of antiques), with its original glass and intact original wooden back. The original gilding has aged just right: a delicate patina that whispers history without shouting it. The glass shows the faintest traces of time, barely visible, but giving it an impossible-to-imitate character. Structurally sound, with small imperfections (as it should be), it’s a timeless piece. Style tip: simply lean it against the wall for an editorial look, or hang it above a large fireplace if you have the ceiling height. In any case, it will enhance the space. A rare and versatile mirror, perfect in both classic interiors and modern spaces. A true collector's find. Note: the visible band in the glass comes from the board used during photography — it is not part of the mirror's glass.
