Plaster bust of Beethoven with bronze patina, signed, 27 cm

Decorative bust of ludwig van beethoven in bronze-patinated plaster, one-piece, with an integrated base treated in imitation varnished wood. This antique print, probably made between the 1930s and 1950s, bears the intaglio signature “godeski” on the reverse—a corruption of the name of cyprien godebski (1835–1909), a french-polish sculptor renowned for his busts of composers, notably beethoven and johann sebastian bach. The inscription “ron (reproduction) interdite” also appears on the reverse, indicating regulated production from an original model. The base, cast in the same plaster, is treated in imitation wood with a brown patina. Dimensions: overall height 27 cm, base 8 × 8 × 9.5 cm. Good overall condition, with some normal signs of age-related wear and discreet repainting, without chips or cracks.
