This chair is napoleon III it is 19th no doubt. It is a blackened wood with louis XVI inspirations, including the knot on the top. It is in a good general condition the seat is comfortable, it was redone later. The fabric of colors is rather chic it breaks the black and deep atmosphere that can be found on napoleon III furniture. However you will notice frictions and small gaps on the wood in various places, the edges of the fabric are slightly yellowed the whole is visible in our many photos.
