Pair of sandblasted and stained pine stools, rolled rope seats, attributed to audoux-minet, circa 1970. They are in good condition, very stable. The minor wear on the rope is related to normal use and their age. Dimensions: width 29cm, height 83cm, depth 32cm. French designers adrien audoux and frida minet embody the rustic-chic style of the 1940s-1950s, characterized by the use of natural materials and an artisanal aesthetic. Audoux and minet, known for their work with raw materials such as rope and wood, are pioneers in the field of natural fiber furniture. Their designs, including their stools, evoke an elegant simplicity, inspired by organic design and a return to sources. The characteristic touch of these stools lies in the woven rope seat. This choice of material not only gives a unique texture, but also great durability, resisting wear and tear well and adding a warm touch to the whole.
