With simple lines, a wooden top weathered by time, and a bright white base, this all-wood antique table evokes the chic country spirit and the timeless charm of English cottages. Its large practical drawer is ideal for storing cutlery, napkins, trivets, etc., in the kitchen or dining room. Fully sanded, repaired, and cleaned in a craftsman's workshop, the table has been treated against wood-boring insects as a preventive measure (with a natural product free of harmful components), before the application of Colibri's White (natural and bio-sourced paint) on the base. The top is nourished and protected with a special bio-sourced oil for worktops, resistant to stains and food grease, to facilitate daily cleaning of the table (however, it should not be used as a cutting board in the kitchen). Although quite light to move, this table is solid and stable on its feet, and its drawer slides well. To maintain its old-world charm, the irregularities of the wood have been preserved under the paint. The wooden top is in very good condition; its renovation has allowed for the preservation of the patina left by time as an additional mark of authenticity and age of this piece of furniture.
