Old Indian coffee table

Round coffee table carved in teak. This coffee table carved in teak was originally the lower part of a manual mill that was used to make flour, an essential ingredient in chapati. Originally, an opening in the center of the table hosted a first stone disc, fixed, and on top was placed a second stone disc, rotating this time, to allow the grain to be grinded. This old mill has been restored (the sculptures are original), the central hole has been filled, in order to make it functional as a coffee table. It is an old piece, which bears the marks of time and its use.
