Gruger workshop lamp

Industrial loupe lamp of the brand "gruber" of the 50's' This lamp was used to control the machining of precision parts. It is composed of two articulated optical glass magnifying glasses. One or the other can be chosen to accentuate the magnification or both at the same time. This articulated lamp allows for multiple lighting positions thanks to its swivel head device. It is made of aluminum cast iron. The word "gruber bte sgdg" (no government guarantee - mention formerly affixed, in france, next to the mention of a patent). Gruber is the french brand specializing in the 1930s in the manufacture of stage projectors with fresnel lens and lamps for precision crafts (jewellers, watchmakers...) in the 1960s.
