In 1931, the German architect Eckart Muthesius designed this Art Deco bar stool as part of his avant-garde interior decoration for the Manik Bagh palace of the Indian Maharaja of Indore, Yeshwant Rao Holkar Bahadur. This piece is a high-quality reissue under official licence, produced by the German manufacturer ClassiCon in the 1990s. The stools feature a high-quality leather upholstery and a chrome-plated tubular steel frame.
