Italian Murano glass floor lamp attr. to Toni Zuccheri, 1970s

This floor lamp was made in the 1970s in Italy and most likely designed by Toni Zuccheri. It is a striking example of sculptural Murano glass design combined with refined modern materials. Overall dimensions are 156 cm in height and 36 cm in diameter. The lamp features a hand-blown Murano glass shade, distinguished by visible air bubbles trapped within the glass. The softly diffused glass creates a pleasant, atmospheric glow when illuminated. The shade is mounted on a chromed metal frame, stands on a round iron base, and features three vertical columns. The glass is made with a very interesting technique that not only traps the air bubbles but also makes the color semi-transparent with white or whitening parts.
