One of the original Flowerpot vp1 enamel lamps, designed by Verner Panton. This is not the new lightweight version; this is the genuine article. Manufactured by Louis Poulsen in the 1960s. An iconic lamp that casts the most beautiful light. One of Verner Panton’s finest and most successful designs ever. Enamel, not aluminium. It is in very good condition with minor signs of wear (these lamps usually have chips in the enamel). It has a tiny chip right at the very edge of the innermost part beneath the shade, which cannot be seen when the lamp is hanging (see last photo) Fitted with a porcelain socket and a new white lead for safety reasons. The colour is light orange. A bulb is included with purchase (it has a standard E26/E27 porcelain bulb holder). Packed securely and sent with insurance.
